Our Preemie Journey

I don’t think anyone who ever had a preemie planned on it happening. I certainly didn’t! When our third daughter, my “mini” girl, was born at 27 weeks, severely growth restricted and oh so tiny, I had no idea it would change our lives forever. Fourteen months later our world turned upside down again when my son was born at 35 weeks with severe health problems due to PUV (bladder obstruction).  This is the story of our two little people.

God is good all the time. All the time God is good.
Needs to be the mantra that all of us repeat every day. You have been blessed with a precious little one, God gives you the strength you need every day. I know you know this, but maybe it will help you to know that other people think the same thing. You are truly one of God’s special people and you are truly a hero. You just keep putting one step in front of the other, dear heart. God sees all you do, your strength, your courage, and your faith in him. God bless your little one, God bless your family. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

  5. Hello there! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My blog looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this issue.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!

Your story is really touching and feel so related.

After 2 full-term babies, my 3rd, little feisty boy was born at 25 weeks. It left me tons of questions and worries. He is only 1 lbs. 9 oz. He has been in the NICU’s (2 hospitals) for 6 months. He is currently still in the NICU. He recently got a trach and G-tube. I searched “trach baby room” and found your blog. Thanks for sharing your stories and pcitures!
